The Homelessness Coalition in Campbell River is looking for new ideas and resources. Vice-Chair for the coalition Paul Mason says they have put out a call out hoping.

“The Ideal candidate for us will be an organization or individuals who are aware of the situation in Campbell River, and hopefully a proven track record.”

They are asking for an “expression of interest,”  which is an idea to be made into pilot projects that would help and reduce homelessness.

Expressions of interest must include:

  1. A brief description of your organization’s mandate;
  2. How your organization proposes to address one or more of the identified priority areas;
  3. A clear reflection of organizational partnership arrangements; and
  4. Plan for ongoing financial sustainability beyond a one-year funding period.

Mason says the coalition has grant money to go to these projects, they just need ideas. Send your Expression of interest to City Hall by no later than February 29th.
